Article:   Still Supple for an old broad . . . “I’ve exercised and kept supple all of my life”

Veteran actress Joan Collins performed the splits on Italian TV  and then attributed her flexibility to her grandmother.  Joan shocked presenter Beppe Fiorella with her amazing feat during an interview about her new film THESE OLD BROADS but Joan revealed that dancing is in her blood. She explained her grandmother Henrietta was once a famous vaudeville performer on the London stage, and it was her tips to the young Joan that helped the actress hold her own against veteran song and dance girls Debbie Reynolds and Shirley MacLaine in the American TV movie.

Joan reveals, “I’m actually named after my grandmother Henrietta is my middle name.  Show was a wonderful lady.  “The dancing was difficult, especially when you’re performing with Shirley and Debbie, but I think I looked pretty good.” Joan, Shirley and Debbie team up with Dame Elizabeth Taylor in the movie  about four old acting rivals brought back together for the revival of one of their old films
