Article:   Collins & Gough Unite . . . A strange juxtaposition of two characters

The latest music video from UK singer/songwriter Badly Drawn Boy (Real Name: Damon Gough) co-stars none other than British acting matriarch Joan Collins.  The video for “Spitting In The Wind” a lyrically altered version of “Pissing In The Wind” from last year’s acclaimed album “Hours Of Bewilder Beast”, will accompany the May 7, UK only single for the song. 

Joan was paid an undisclosed sum to star in the video. “I wanted to work with Damon because I consider him a very talented young man and I love his music. Doing this video appealed to me because of the strange juxtaposition of our two characters. I loved every minute” said Joan.   The video itself was shot on a secret location in Copenhagen and features Joan and Gough bathing and getting dressed for a night out. Additional segments show Joan making fun of some of her most famous roles such as The Stud and The Bitch.
