FULL CIRCLE - An excellent light comedy where a lady get her three ex-lovers together to decide which on will be the best father to her children .

'One can play comedy, two are required for melodrama,
but a tragedy demands three' - Elbert Hubbard 1859 - 1915.

The FULL CIRCLE is a wonderful comedy adapted from a French play and set in France. ‘Dear Charles’ hangs over the mantelpiece. For years the three children of Denise Darvel (Joan Collins) consider the portrait that hang’s over the mantelpiece to be that of their father, but Denise unexpectedly confesses to her children that the handsome man in the portrait above the fireplace is not, after all, their father.  In the interests of respectability, the search for a candidate for the role for father-substitue ensues, with surprising and delightful results

The play was written by Alan Melvilel who was a well known playwright, revue author and lyricist of the forties and fifties.  Melville was a prolific contributor to West End revues which dominated the lighter side of West End theatre.  His satire was gentle, and he poked fun at the middle classes.

With elegant sets and gorgeous costumes evoking Parisian smart society, The Full Circle promises an evening of wit, comedy and sophistication.
